Grammar Patterns
-아/어요 (날씨 묘사) descriptive adjectives for weather 韓国語では天気を形容詞で表し、動詞のように活用します。丁寧形-아/어요が語幹に付きます。덥다→더워요、춥다→추워요(ㅂ不規則に注意)。
오늘 날씨가 더워요. — The weather is hot today.
겨울에는 추워요. — It is cold in winter.
봄에는 따뜻해요. — It is warm in spring.
-아/어서 (이유) because (cause and effect) 原因と結果をつなぎます。動詞・形容詞の語幹に付いて「〜なので」を表します。「雨が降ったので傘を持ってきた」のように天気の影響の説明によく使います。
비가 와서 우산을 가져왔어요. — Because it rained, I brought an umbrella.
더워서 창문을 열었어요. — It was hot, so I opened the window.
추워서 집에 있었어요. — It was cold, so I stayed home.
-(으)ㄹ 것 같다 it seems / probably will (weather guess) 推測や予想を表します。動詞・形容詞の語幹に付いて「〜しそうだ」「〜だろう」の意味になります。「雨が降りそうだ」のように天気予報でよく使います。
내일 비가 올 것 같아요. — It looks like it will rain tomorrow.
오후에 추울 것 같아요. — It will probably be cold in the afternoon.
눈이 많이 올 것 같아요. — It seems like it will snow a lot.
